Umkhokha actress ‘Mabusi’ Hope Mbhele to star in new Valentines movie on Showmax

Hope Mbhele has made South African entertainment industry stakeholders pay attention to her talent. The radio DJ turned actress made waves on Television when she landed her leading role in Umkhokha. Several gigs on Television fell on the actress’ lap after her role as Mabusi. It looks like the good news keeps coming in as Hope Mbhele is set to star in a new Valentines’ movie.

 

 
Hope took to Instagram to share visuals of her new project; a Showmax movie called No love Lost. She takes on the lead role as Amahle. She is a woman in love who goes on a romantic getaway with her man only for things to turn awkward after she runs into her ex and his new girlfriend. This leads to several double dates, which in turn awakens feelings she thought were long buried.

The director of this romantic feature film is Phiwo Mkhanzi, the director of House of Zwide and Isibaya. The movie has talented actors like Lungile Radu, Palace Dladla, and Zola Nombona. The film will start showing on Showmax on the 14th of February. Television presenter and actress Minnie Dlamini is the Executive producer of the show. She also shared the movie trailer on her page, showing how proud she is to have been one of the brains behind the scenes in this production.
