UCT confers honorary doctorate on Kaizer Chiefs Football Club founder Kaizer Motaung

The University of Cape Town has given a privileged doctorate on the pioneer behind Kaizer Chiefs Football Club, Kaizer Motaung. He was granted a privileged Doctor of Social Science.

Five other recognized people were likewise granted privileged doctorates during the graduation services that were held at the college, while 100 Ph.D. graduates were praised altogether.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Town, Professor Mamokgethi Phakeng, has approached the college’s Ph.D. graduates to take on the test to become forerunners in their fields of review.
