Nigerian star, Burna Boy has been dethroned by Tyla on Spotify. The South African star currently has the most monthly listeners as an African singer.

 

 

While Burna’s listener sits at 18.8 million, Ty’s listener hit 20 million. The Mzansi star has placed the nation on the map through her hit song, Water.“Not long ago I was just a girl in South Africa dreaming of moments like this… Even though I’ve been grindingggg for years it feels like this is all happening so fast. I cannot wait for the world to see what an African Popstar looks like,” she wrote.
