Twitter users were against Sizwe Dhlomo after dishing details about a gig

On Thursday, 15 June TV and radio presenter Sizwe Dhlomo found himself on the wrong side of the tracks with Twitter users after he shared that he had roped in South African-born international comedian Trevor Noah for a (Kentucky Fried Chicken) KFC gig.

A Twitter user had complimented the celebs on having each other’s backs in the entertainment industry and helping each other secure the bag, saying,

“That @KFC advert of @SizweDhlomo and @Trevornoah is a real example of bras pushing each other; not this bras that only want you around for monate [good times], but can’t connect you for important money gigs.”

Responding to the Twitter user’s comment, Dhlomo found the need to explain that he was in fact the helper in the situation.“Lol! This tweet is so funny & true but surprisingly, I’m the one who brought Trev on board with that ad. Crazy, right?’ he wrote.

Twitter users didn’t take Dhlomo’s response kindly and blasted him for it. Many of them voiced that he was doing too much and that it was absolutely unnecessary to share who did what.

Recently, Noah’s career has flourished and it continues to do so. After he decided to leave The Daily Show in America, he was recently said to have secured another bag back in Mzansi with the LOL: Last One Laughing series, The Citizen reported. The show will reportedly air on Amazon Prime Videos.Social media users called Sizwe Dhlomo out on Twitter. Image via Twitter @sizwedhlomo/ via Twitter @Am_Blujay

“It really doesn’t matter who brought who. He legit was saying big ups to those that don’t wanna eat by themselves unlike those who know their mates when it involves alcohol. Aye,” @OL_EYY commented.

Bro you don’t have to explain so much at times hey? I’d hate to be helped by you… imagine years later I drive through and you start telling people that you once went me “R5000 for groceries one time”… unprovoked?
