TV and radio personality Mapaseka is in trouble See what she allegedly did

Having crafted a name for herself in radio and on TV, media personality Mapaseka Mokwele has lost her job at Wits Business School (WBS).

This comes after she was accused of allegedly assaulting her friend and colleague Thandi Makubele at a function in Cape Town.

Another organisation, Centre on African Philanthropy and Social Investment (CAPSI), which had partnered with WBS to host the conference, also terminated her participation in the event because of the gender-based violence allegation (GBV) levelled against her by Makubele.

Even though all this has been kept in a silent room, the Sunday World has managed to get hold of emails detailing the whole drama.

Mapaseka is a popular figure in the South African media spectrum and she had now leap frogged her way into the corporate world.

WBS human resource officer Nozi Mosia stated in the email that she wrote to Mokwele they had received a complaint from Makubele alleging that the former Kaya FM presenter kicked her several times on her leg .

According to what was reported by the Sunday World, Mokhele was one of the high profile delegates at the event and her conduct was simply not on point.

Makubele, added Mosia, even shot pictures of her injuries and sent them to WBS Professor Bhekinkosi Moyo and CAPSI deputy director Jacob Mati.

Mokhele, meanwhile, went on to clear her name stating that she did nothing wrong.

Mokwele said she felt horrified, violated, and harassed by the allegations and said she was keen to attend the meeting so she could clear her name and protect her integrity.

The matter seems to heading to court with reports that Mapaseka has resorted to going the legal way to clear her name.
