Nokuthula Ledwaba is a South African actress who was born in 1983. Her roles in the famous serials Rhythm City and The River have made her a household name.

She was born in the Mofolo neighborhood of Soweto, South Africa, in 1983. Grace Vilakazi-Ledwaba, her mother, gave birth to her at an early age. Her father died when her mother was still pregnant 33 years ago. Her mother had a terrible time parenting her children because she had them at a young age. As a result, she gave Nokuthala to her aunt. She then lived with her aunt in Soshanguve, Northern Pretoria. She learned about her family, including her father, Mavuso, when she was a teen girl. After that, she moved to live with her mother. Her mother, on the other hand, died in September 2015.
