Tshepo Mosese, Aubrey Mmakola and more stars join ‘Muvhango’

TSHEPO MASESE, AUBREY MMAKOLA: NEW ROLES
Sunday World reports that the former Scandal! actor Tshepo Masese will play the role of Manditi, while former Gomora star Aubrey Mmakola plays the character of Tshililo Netshitangane in Muvhango.

The publication adds that Masese’s character Manditi is mysterious, intelligent, ruthlessness, and has a lot of charisma. Mmakola’s character, Tshililo is a spoilt rich kid who grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Newcomer Sinete Nemakonde will portray the role of Reneilwe “Rene” Netshitangane from 11 January, while Mudi Mudau will play her mother Nkele Dikeledi Netshitangane.

“Reneilwe’s mother is a top Limpopo businesswoman with ambitions to dominate the male-dominated construction industry,” adds the publication.

Entertainment commentator Phi Mphela reports that fan-favourite actors Buhle Samuels and Sydney Ramakuwela, who played Matshidiso and Mulalo have returned to the soapie.

Ramakuwela’s character is known for his scheming, self-victimisation, constant comparison to Chief Azwindini and feels he should also have a predominant role in the Mukwevho family.

The talented stars returned to the SABC 2 weekday soapie Muvhango season 25 this week along with the new faces on the show.

Entertainment commentator Jabu Macdonald reported in December that SABC2 soapie has been renewed for season 25.

TVSA reported in October and November that the show is the most-watched TV show on the channel with over 1 million viewers.
