Rapper Tshego can finally breath a huge sigh of relief as his pockets are about to get fatter. The rapper gave fans an update on his now settled court case over unpaid royalties.

Tshego revealed that he has won his case against an unnamed record label who had been using his music continuously without paying him a cent. His hit songs Henessey, Garden, The Vibe, Tell Em Say, So High, Dem Ah Wind and so forth, have been making waves in the industry without making him any richer.
The rapper took to Twitter to share how he came out victorious on his battle after being exploited by a certain record label.
On Sunday he dropped a bombshell when he revealed that he had not been paid any money for his music, which was released whilst he was still in agreement with Family Tree.
“If I told you I haven’t seen a single cent (sales) from Hennessy, Garden, The Vibe, Tell Em Say, So High, Dem Ah Wind, etc… What would you say? Mind you, I OWN THE MASTERS ON ALL THESE SONGS!” the rapper wrote.
Tshego who had been silent for far too long, threatened the wrong-doers with a court case, “Been fighting a very silent legal battle. And when I win this case on Monday the humble sh*t stops.”

Giving us an update he revealed that he had won the case and will be getting his money in due time, “Suffering in silence was worth it. Being told I was arrogant was worth it. It’s done now. I won. Getting my money. We move.”
Tshego re-iterated that he is an independent artist who was and never is signed under a recording label. He was however managed by Africori, which according to their website is the perfect company for independent artists and record labels in Africa.
When he made the announcement, many pointed fingers at various organizations, including Family Tree which is owned by Cassper Nyovest, but he put a stop to the rumours and said Africori is not to be blamed, he further said all the songs were produced, recorded by him at his own studio.
“Africori was never the problem. They had no idea the label was not sub-accounting to their artists. Instead just pocketing everything that was distributed by Africori as their own. I NEVER SIGNED ANYTHING. THATS ALL MY SHIT. Produced by ME, recorded by ME, at MY STUDIO.
“A sincere thank you @KMalatji and the #TailorMadeLaw team for getting my catalogue back in my possession after all my calls, emails, and texts failed. Thank you #Africori for realising my catalogue was for none to earn from but myself. We’re setting a precedent,” he said.
