Tribute To R Mashesha The Former Big Nuz Star

Remembering deceased musicians is important because they dedicated their life to ensuring that we may all enjoy good music.

A musician’s primary responsibility, in addition to playing, is to create meaningful music that listeners will enjoy. One of the musicians who consistently offered us their best work when it came to writing and recording songs was Mashesha.

We would not have known a Kwaito group named Big Nuz if R Mashesha had never been born, in my opinion. Google how long the organization endured following Mashesha’s passing to find evidence.

“Known by their stage names Mampintsha, R Mashesha, and Danger, the South African Kwaito trio Big Nuz was established in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, in 2002.

The name of the group was inspired by “NUZ”, which is the prefix for all license plates registered in Umlazi, where the original members all grew up together.”

He was a South African legend who needs to be honored for his role in the development of the South African Kwaito music, and I believe we owe it to him to preserve his name and legacy. R Mashesha was a talented musician who promoted Durban music.

R Mashesha, real name Sibusiso Khomo, was a member of the Kwaito group Big Nuz and the composer of the hit song Umlilo. He died on Friday, August 7, 2015.

I sincerely appreciate your time. Enjoy your day as it continues.
