Fast-rising amapiano vocalist Nkosazana Daughter recovering in hospital
South Africans have in recent months suffered tragedy after tragedy, starting in January when actor and performer Patrick Shai completed suicide. Shai reportedly hanged himself at his garage of his Soweto home one Saturday morning. It was reported then that he was suffering from depression. The following month saw media darling Kuli Roberts passing on, she is said to have collapsed and died just before a radio interview. A week later, musician Ricky Rick also killed himself, sending the country to yet another mourning period.
It then came as no surprise when news broke that newcomer musician Nkosazana Daughter had been admitted in hospital, meanwhile actress Joyce Skefu was also said to be recovering in hospital after suffering a stroke.
Newcomer to the world of amapiano, Nkosazana Daughter (Nkosazana Nolwazi Kimberly Nzama), is reported to have been hospitalised.
Nkosazana, who has mesmerised Mzansi with her vocals on Master KG’s hit single Dali Nguwe, shared images of herself in the health facility and, with an IV fluid drip connected to her hand, wrote: “It’s bad.”
The vocalist also penned a WhatsApp status informing her followers that she was not feeling well and is focusing on recovering. Details of her admission to the hospital are not clear, but close friends have confirmed she was indeed in hospital.
She is said to be recovering.
