Mamelodi Sundowns star defender Grant Kekana celebrated his mother Pinky Kekana’s birthday with so much love and affection.

To mark this special day the product of the University of Pretoria took to his Instagram stories and posted pictures of himself and his mother.

 

 

 

 

The 29 year old Polokwane born defender can be seen embracing his mother, who turned 56 on Thursday, 14 July 2022, in a series of pictures which have since been showered with love by his fans and followers on Instagram.

Taking to the popular platform the Mamelodi Sundowns jersey number 4 decided to caption one of the shared pictures with, “I pray one day that my wife looks at me the way you look at me”. In addition, in another different picture on his Instagram stories Grant Kekana was quoted, “a rare picture of coal under pressure”, followed by three gem stone emojis.

1. Did you know that Ms Pinky Kekana is a member of the ruling party the African National Congress (ANC) and currently serves as the deputy minister in the presidency in the cabinet of the incumbent South African President Cyril Ramaphosa?

2. According to her profile on 𝘞𝘪𝘬𝘪𝘱𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢, Ms Pinky Kekana began her political career in 1999 when she was appointed as a member of the Limpopo Provincial Legislature, a position she held until 2009.

3. In addition, according to the same source mentioned above, before her rise to political prominence Ms Pinky Kekana previously worked as a high school teacher in Bela Bela after completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Teaching and Training.
