South Africans were left with a lot of questions after politican, Tony Yengeni, posted a picture with Thabo Mbeki. People wonder whether they are plotting and scheming.
Tony Yengeni took to his Twitter account to post the picture. He left this caption on the tweet, “ We are proudly defined by the valleys..the mountains..the rivers..the songs..the languages .. the wealth below and above the ground in our beautiful continent of Africa.”
Mbeki and Yengeni have not been connected for years now. The last time we heard about them was when Mbeki, while speaking to the SABC, said Madikizela-Mandela should be remembered as part of a collective that fought against apartheid and not as an individual. He also said Madikizela-Mandela defied the ANC when she refused to disband the controversial Mandela Football Club. Yengeni said he was shocked to hear such comments from Mbeki especially because he is regarded as an elder in the ANC.
@AceMcG33 left this comment on the tweet, “Kind of sums up what’s wrong with the ANC, cadres can do no wrong, irrespective of criminal activity the ANC will always support you… ethical organizations boot criminals to the kerb.”
