“To my Mother-in-law, I’d Like to Say I Forgive All Your Sins” — Babes Wodumo

Babes Wodumo has said that she has forgiven her husband’s family, including her mother-in-law for everything they did to her, saying that she forgive them because she is from a Christian family. She was quoted as saying, “To my mother-in-law, I’d like to say I forgive all your sins because I’m from a Christian family”.

 

The bereaved musician has been at loggerheads with her late husband’s family. A video recently surfaced online showing Babes Wodumo Quarrelling with Mampintsha’s family few days to his funeral. Babes Wodumo also added, “Let’s put behind everything that has happened between us”. Babes Wodumo made all these statements before she stepped off the podium and went to hug and kiss Gumede and her relatives. She has asked them to let bygone be bygones so that they can live together in peace among themselves. Babes Wodumo, real name Bongekile Simelane, kissed and made up with Mampintsha’s mother Zama Gumede at the late star’s funeral held on Friday at the Durban ICC.

It was a fulfilling moment, many people did not believe that reconciliation could take place at the funeral. It was the last thing people were expecting, but it happened! The peace that they couldn’t attain during Mampintsha’s lifetime was actualized at his funeral, which was attended by the timbers and calibres of the society.
