TNS has had one of the best years in his music career this year and we have witnessed his tremendous growth, all thanks to his amazing talent. Despite the drama that he has found himself entangled in, his fans always have his back but many feel he is still irrelevant because he rarely wins any awards.

Many artists in the country have proven that you do not need an award to make it big. In fact some of the biggest names are okay with the fact that they do not collect any accolades for their hard work, because their music and artistry speak for themselves.
These are the same sentiments echoed by TNS who got dragged by a troll for not winning any awards, saying he has no impact in the industry. When the troll told TNS that he is not a valid artist in the country he simply said he does not need an award to validate his talent.
“I do not work for awards, that is why I do not have any. If I did need an award I would simply ask SONY Music, my record label to buy them for me so that I become the number 1 artist in the country. Thank you!”
Award ceremonies in Mzansi have been said to be irrelevant. If you take Master KG for instance, his career reached milestones despite not getting even a mere nomination for a South African Music Award. Many threatened to boycott the awards show because they felt as though the SAMA’s and many others fail to recognise many of the great musicians who do not conform to the standard level of artistry as some other artists.
After the social media uproar that erupted, Master KG started getting his flowers elsewhere forcing Mzansi to then start recognising their own. As it stands Master KG is on a winning streak having won about nine awards in three weeks.
Other artists such as Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha have also slammed award ceremonies for not being honest, as many labels buy awards for their artists. This was caused by the fact that Babes had the hottest song in the country at some point but did not win any.
TNS has not had the best year personally because many industry greats targeted him trying to steal the talent he possesses. Hailing form KwaZulu-Natal, many thought it was DJ Tira, seeing how many think he runs Durban but he denied that and offered to help TNS.
There is no bad blood between the two of them, as they will be releasing a song they did together titled uDaddy featuring Madannon.
