Tiisetso Mona Monyane is a 32 year-old South African actress, she is best known for her roles in popular television series Muvhango, Skeem Saam and film Kalushi.

She began her career in the entertainment industry back in 2012 when she featured in the movie Hard To Get. She is popularly known for playing the role of Dr Nthabeleng on Sabc2’s popular soapie Muvhango from 2014 to 2016. In 2017 she joined the cast in the biographical feature film Kalushi: The story of Solomon Mahlangu.

 

 

 

 

 

In 2018 she starred Sabc1’s soapie Skeem Saam, playing the role of Lindiwe Baloyi.

Mona was married to fellow actor Khulu Skenjana. They got married in 2016, were blessed with 2 children, both girls, unfortunately their last born daughter passed away seven days after she was born. Their eldest daughter was born in 2016.

Mona has been through a lot, from losing her child, marriage and then losing her home after it burnt down.

She didn’t give up on love, the actress has given love a second chance. She has announced on her Instagram page with a video that she said yes.

She wrote:
