The family of Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane is still grieving after the tragic death of their loved one, who was killed alongside his friend rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes on Friday night. Despite the tragedy, the family has yet to receive any details from the police regarding the incident that claimed their child’s life.

The Motsoane family is desperate for answers and are hoping that the police can provide them with some closure.

Tibz is believed to have been shot in the chest shortly before he and the AKA were about to part ways.

Tibz family, who live in Gauteng, on Sunday travelled to Durban, and hoped that more information would then be made available to them by the police. Family representative Ntsoaki Mothakathi says they are still trying to come to terms with Tibz death.

“The parents are devastated after losing their son, they are really going through tough times. At the moment the family is really going through a lot. The family has asked for compassion and space as it prepares for his funeral ceremony”. The family spokesperson said.
