Thulisile Phongolo is an actress, presenter and DJ. She was born on the 22nd January 1994 in Soweto. Thuli got her first big acting role when she was just 17 years old. Phongolo began her acting career playing Zama on the South African Broadcasting Corporation’s TV series Tshisa. Thuli was also featured in the mini drama series called Makoti. Her role as Zama opened more doors in the entertainment industry.
Phogolo is well known by her role as Namhl Diale on the soap opera Generations The Legacy. She was Lucy Diale’s daughter in the soapie. She joined Generations in 2014 and left in 2018 after her character was written off.
