Throwback| The Iconic Clap Between Karabo & Ntombi From Generations Has Gained Momentum Years Later

Connie Ferguson has taken the time to talk about the slap on Generation which was considered to be the most iconic local TV moment. It happened at a time when the soapy was in its golden years and many memorable years were created, and careers and moments included Ntombi and Karabo’s bitter rivalry. Connie’s daughter Lesedi Matsunyane Ferguson stated why she wanted to resurrect this TV debate of Ntombi and Karabo’s moment of slap. Lesedi went on and screened the scene where the two rivalries got into a fight in the early 2000s.

The same slap went viral on TikTok for a good two week period where people expressed their love of back then soapies which had a different type of drama, and that of Ntombi and Karabo was unmatched on television. Her friend asked her to record her mother’s reaction to the clip. She laughed at the scene of the slap and wondered how they got it after so many years. She made comments about the scene and said the hair is her own and said those slaps were real and not fake.

Ntombi and Karabo were in a love triangle, the two had an on and off relationship with Sibusiso but Ntombi managed to have him as her husband and father to her daughter. On the other hand, Karabo kept her on and off affair with Sibusiso, the late Menzi Ngubane. Every woman will be mad at an ex who does not want to let go and leave the new relationship alone. Back then soapies were very nice and real, nowadays we use too much fake than reality. They are a lot of fakes too much makeup and wigs no more real things.
