The great Afro-pop singer Brenda Nokuzola Fassie passed away in the year 2004. Many people admired her because she worked hard and was good at what she did. She was a mother and a musician who gave her all. Bongani, her son, was born in 1985, making her and her husband quite close in age. They attended functions together, and she often appeared in interviews alongside him. Bongani is one of the most brilliant artists in the world because to inheriting his mother’s lovely voice.

After more than 18 years, Bongani still brings up how much Brenda’s death impacted him due of the closeness of their relationship. Also, she did all the work of raising him by herself.
