When a person dies, we mourn. When someone we know and we are close to die, it becomes more painful, and knowing that you’ll never see the person again becomes more unbearable.

But again when a celebrity or a public figure passes , it also becomes too painful for many people , even though they only knew the person through his/her work.

Celebrity or not , death doesn’t discriminate, we are all going to depart this world at some point . So let’s take a look at those actors who left their names engraved on our minds through their sterling perfomances.

1Lesego Motsepe

Lesego Motsepe , was an actress who played the character of Leleti Matabane on Isidingo. She was one of the cast members of the now cancelled soapie Isidingo.

According to Move Magazine, Lesego died in 2014 due to cardiac arrest.

2 Lindiwe Chibi

Lindiwe was known as Doobsy , her onscreen character on Muvhango. According to Drum Magazine, Lindiwe died in 2007.

Pneumonia was listed as the cause of her death . Two years earlier, she was shot in the face by her boyfriend.

Her place in the soapie was taken by the then young Khanyi Mbau.

3 Tiki Nxumalo

Sompisi as he was affectionately known by many , died at his home alone . He died in 2015 after a reported asthma attack according to Nyce Media.

4 Randall de Jager

Randall played the character of Aubrey in 7 de laan. According to Move , Randall was killed in 2001 in an armed robbery.

5 Precious Simelane

Precious Simelane entertained us as Zanele on Generations. She also had a role on the now defunct Backstage.

Simelane died in 2005 due to a short illness.

6 Ruby Mogale

Ruby Mogale was Irene on Backstage. According to The Herald, sadly passed away in a car accident in 2001.
