A cousin of Batsi, Jackson, is Hamilton’s private driver.

Hamilton can not speak any South African languages but feels compelled to learn SePedi, which Jackson teaches him. He enjoys chess but is not interested in sports.

Milto is a nickname given to him by his peers. His mother refers to him as sweet pea and, on rare occasions, pumpkin. In Series 3, his father spends most of his time away from home but communicates with Hamilton and Batsi via the phone.
