Harriet Manamela is the South African actress who plays the role of Meikie Maputla on SABC 1 soapie Skeem Sam. She is the wife of the local businessman and a lecture John Maputla.

 
Things are turning south for Meikie Maputla. She came with a great plan to help herself stay out of prison but everything is just not going her way.

After different testimonies in the court house many seem to work against her. Testimonies revealed how she threatened the Seakamela household and the testimonies are strong and might send her behind bars for some time.

Despite Meikie’s divastatng news, it seems like Skeem Sam has found a very edutainment storyline. Many South Africans can relate to Melitta’s storyline as we are desperate for employment and we would do anything to see ourselves employed.
