Thabo Bester (born 13 June 1986)[4] is a convicted criminal who escaped from the Mangaung Correctional Center in South Africa after faking his death in 2022. He was on the run for almost a year before being caught in Arusha, Tanzania on 8 April 2023. He was arrested along with his partner Dr. Nandipha Magudumana. Bester was known as the “Facebook rapist” and was convicted of rape and murder.

After this picture was shared people started commenting someone even commented saying Yeah well, there wouldn’t be any romance because Thabo will appear virtually.

When someone appears virtual is when someone does personally come into the courtroom, but they are making a video conference. So that’s what’s going to happen today, Thabo won’t be in court himself like the last time, but things will be done differently compared to the last time he was in court. No one knows why the court decided to do this.

But I think a lot of people can’t wait to see the look on both faces when they see other in court, especially after everything that happened and the things Dr. Nandipha said about Thabo Bester as he forced her into doing all those things they did together. But unfortunately, that won’t happen today but maybe one day.
