Sithelo Shozi, the matter has been referred to her legal team.”/>Shauwn Mkhize, a reality television star and businesswoman, has stated that she condemns all forms of abuse.
This comes after the grandmother of her grandkids, Sithelo Shozi (28), accused her son, Royal AM chairman Andile Mpisane, of abuse.
The DJ, businesswoman, and influencer explained why she and Andile separated, as well as how the Gqom artist married Tamia Louw Mpisane three months after the birth of their child.
Sithelo is notorious for keeping her personal life quiet, but she decided to speak up during a question-and-answer session on social media.
Sithelo accused the father of her two daughters, Florence “Flo” and Likuwe “Coco” Mpisane, of being abusive in multiple deleted Instagram stories.
“I am not one to speak publicly about my private life, especially when my children are involved. But everyone has a breaking point, and this story has reached its limit. She stated, “I have remained silent for far too long and have concealed the truth for the sake of peace, but tonight I will not be hushed.”
Sithelo described how Andile abandoned her shortly after the birth of their child to marry Tamia Louw. She stated that she had been abused.
“You all insulted and ridiculed me when I was left with a three-month-old child, but you had no idea that it was my release from unending suffering. That was God preventing me from committing suicide. There has been nothing more liberating. I witnessed God’s hand at my most vulnerable moment.”
She asserted that she had a miscarriage as a result of the physical abuse and provided evidence of psychologist consultations.
She stated, “Let’s begin when I was beaten to a pulp and had a miscarriage at the hands of my so-called ‘victim’ in front of his family and friends, rushed to the local hospital, and treated as if nothing had occurred.”
She then posted images of injuries on her face, lip, and a broken cell phone, which she claims Andile caused.
“Should I speak about the weekly or monthly beatings I received, followed with a bouquet of flowers, so that I would never speak out?”
Andile’s mother Mamkhize stated in a statement that she was uninformed of the alleged assault, despite Sithelo’s claim that it occurred in plain view of the family.
“I am aware of the claims made by Sithole Shozi on her Instagram account against my son, Andile Mpisane,” the statement states.
“Given my experience and position against gender-based violence, I do not take these claims lightly,” I have never and will never condone any sort of violence.”
Mamkhize asserts that she does not condone gender-based violence, and that her family was unaware of the alleged assault.
“I would want to clarify absolutely that neither I nor any member of my family have witnessed any alleged mistreatment. These are false and libelous charges.” She continues by stating that they will seek legal counsel on the situation.
The matter has been sent to our legal team due to the nature, severity, and scope of these allegations. “It is of the utmost importance that justice be served,” she says.
“Additionally, false charges do immense harm to victims of true assaults and/or abuse. Everyone knows that there are always two sides to every tale. Regarding this issue, I shall make no further comments.”
