Thembi Seete is a South African actor, singer, poet, model, and TV host. She became famous during her time spent with Boom Shaka. At this time, she may be seen portraying “Gladys” on the Mzansi Magic drama series Gomora.

 

 

 

Seete was born around March 25th, 1977, in the Soweto district of Pretoria, South Africa. She lost her dad when she was a teenager.

She was brought up by her mother and brother in Sebokeng, a town in the Vaal area of South Africa. Her mother Rebecca Seete died suddenly in March of 2021.

Her businessman husband was named Collen Mashawana. She conceived Dakalo, her first and only child, in April 2019.

Until the group’s disintegration in the year 2000, she remained a member. Her big break came with her performance in the 2000 film Hijack Tales. The Yizo Yizo TV soap opera later included her in an episode.
