Just over a year since he passed away, much loved South African actor Menzi Ngubane’s fans will be pleased to hear that a new documentary is set to be released in his name.

 

 

 

 

 

His widow Sikelelwa Sishuba said that they are in the final stages of completing the documentary which they hope will be ready to be released by the 28th of August, the late actor’s birthday who passed away on the 13th of March 2021.

The documentary will be called Ngubs The Life And Times Of Menzi “Ngubs” Ngubane Documentary Film. Elaborating further Sishuba said that “He wanted to tell his story in his own way but God had other plans”. The documentary began working while he was still alive.

She also added that “My husband was one in a million. He was the best in his craft. When you say Menzi Ngubane even a six-year-old knows him. I would like to keep his legacy going … he was the best. A gem like that cannot be forgotten.” as quoted by TimesLive.

Ngubane was the country’s most loved actor, he appeared in numerous local television productions which include the likes of Yizo Yizo, Ashes to Ashes, Gold Diggers, Isibaya and Genarations among others. He was 53 years old when he passed away, his fans will be looking forward to the documentary.
