THE WAFCON-WINNING BANYANA BANYANA STARS FROM LIMPOPO WILL RECEIVE AN ADDITIONAL R100,000 EACH.

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture MEC Thandi Moraka announced that WAFCON winning Banyana Banyana stars from Limpopo will receive additional R100 000 reward.

 

 

 

 

It was officially announced during a welcome home breakfast ceremony that was held at Meropa Casino, Polokwane on Thursday, 28 July 2022.

Banyana-Banyana really made the whole country proud.

Noko Matlou, Hilda Magaia and Nomvula Kgoale were present and were adorned with Provincial Blazers by the MEC Lebogang Ramalepe and Amogelang Motau’s families received on their behalf in their absence.

MEC Moraka said that they have made history in the continent of Africa and made history for South Africa, what a gift to give the country.

“Thank you for putting our province on the map with the little that we have, accept it, we say thank you”, MEC Moraka concluded.
