Dali Tambo is the son of Oliver Reginald Tambo and Adelaide Tambo who was born on the 1 March 1959. He is a media personality well known as the presenter of SABC Talk Show People of the South and as the founder of the anti-Apartheid organization Artist Against Apartheid. He did his early education in United Kingdom and tertiary level in US and France where he obtained a Degree in Bachelor of Arts in International affairs and Political science. He’s married to a white lady Rachel Tambo with four kids, the first bone is named after his father OR Tambo.

The unveil of his father’s statue put him on the spotlight for different reasons, first his American accent. People wondered is he able to speak IsiXhosa, the way he flows when he speaks English gives a doubt that he does not know a single African language. Another issue is the tender for the erection of his fathers Statue, how come it was given to him. Lastly it’s her white wife, he’s father was a struggle icon and he himself fought against Apartheid government through his organisation but decide to marry a white women.

How can people be proud of their skin colour if elite, mentor and activist marry across former oppressors or colonizers. Somethings need critical thinking in order to understand them. Yes, people have a choice to choose whoever they love, but why only those with money does that.
