“Many people worry that I’m leaving Uzalo as my character was seriously wounded, but I’m not. That was a way for me to disappear in style and shoot Shaka Ilembe.

People are saying I’m quitting and are very worried and asking me not to leave. They must relax. I’m not quitting; they will see me because I will be back to entertain them. Maybe I will disappear for two months, but I will be back.”

The bubbly actor went on to open up about his on-screen on Uzalo and how it’s unpredictable.

“I started off as a medical doctor and ended up as a celebrated thug. All these characters are good for me because I love doing something unpredictable.”
