Gender-based violence has been a burning issue in South Africa. It’s mostly women who are the victims of the violence. Celebrities have lately found themselves under fire for committing violence. The actor Sthembiso Khoza professional known as SK Khoza was recently arrested for beating up fiancé Mandy Hlongwane.

 

 

 
Mandy Hlongwane opened a case of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm against SK Khoza last weekend. SK Khoza allegedly physically assault Mandy after she questioned him about impregnating another woman while they were planning their wedding. SK Khoza was arrested last week, appeared in the Randburg magistrate court on Wednesday (13 October), and was released on R2000 bail.

The incident allegedly took place at the couple’s apartment in Fourways, last Friday. SK Khoza is said to have broken the furniture and Mandy has suffered bruises on her face as a result of the attack. Mandy has called off the engagement, allegedly.
