An alleged photo taken from Lobola process surfaced on social media and left people in stitches on the comments section after people noticed something else.

In accordance with tradition, a man conducts a lobolo, also when he wishes to wed his fiancée. The couple’s two families concur that lobolo should be given (the future husband and wife).

 

 

 

A bridewealth is a type of payment known as a lobola. According to this custom, payment is made to the bride’s family by the groom’s family prior to the wedding. In the past, cattle were frequently used as payment. Cash is accepted today. But lobola is not thought of as a purchase.
