It is a good feeling that we have women that are taking up the space and making a name for themselves. Yvonne Chakachaka is acknowledged as an internationally recognized South African singer and a songwriter. She holds many tittle below her belt as she is also known for being the actress, entrepreneur, humanitarian and a teacher.
She was brought into the world on 18 March 1965 in Dobsonville, Soweto. She started singing at an early age as 19 years in 1984, this means she have been making waves in the music industry for quite some time now. She inherited her talent from bith her parents as they were great musicians and that is why music has always been in her blood.
Yvonne Chakachaka liyerally teaches at University of South Africa as a part time. She is committed to her profession and lot of people loves her. She dubbed the “Princess of Africa” as she gained after 1990 tour. She has won the Ngomo award for the grand song prize of Zaire and the FNB/SAMA award for being the best female singer.
