Born on the 29 of September 1992 Mthembeni Ndevu , famously known as by his stage name as Emtee is a South African rapper. He was born in matatiele and grew up in Rockville, Soweto, where he was involved in a talent show. And traveling world wide playing marimba. His career began at the age of 17 and his debut hit single “roll up” was released in 2015, to critical acclaim and he further got realized by Ambitious entertainment.And he released a few albums there , until the last one called manando. And that was when he formally left Ambitious entertainment, because they had problems. However Ever since he left Ambitious, emtees music career was never the same. It went from being better to bad. He kept on releasing songs but nothing was working out for him . He further released some albums but they were not recognized by people. He also went to as far as being featured by other huge artists, sich as sjava because things were bad from his side .

Emtee became broke and lost everything in his name so he had to wait up on making music, and focus a little bit on his stability while he could. However after emtees album nota was released, a guy named nora said that Emtees music is no longer the same, reason being that he left Ambitious entertainment. And that is making him less recognized by the South African Hip hop awards .He further said that emtee is nothing without ambitious entertainment. But his fans kept on fighting for him , that emtee is still good and his music is still relevant to todays hip ho culture. His fans stood by him irregardless of fate and what he is going through. And that is making notas statement useless because emtee has a lot of fans and they all are besides him .
