The family of award-winning artist Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes has left the rapper’ s home

Aka Born on the 28th of January 1988 died on 19 February 2023, Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known by his stage name AKA is a prolific rapper, songwriter, record producer, and entrepreneur in South Africa.

His fans know AKA as SupaMega, Bhova, Mega, and Bhovamania. The rapper gained prominence after releasing his “Victory Lap” single, a track from his debut album “Alter Ego” in 2011.


AKA has, since his debut gone on to release top-notch songs and studio projects that have gone platinum over time. In addition, the rapper recently launched his online T.V. station with the name AKATV, which can be accessed on various mobile devices.

It has been a sad week after the well-known awards-winning artist AKA was shot and killed outside a restaurant in Durban.

People have been mourning AKA since they heard about his passing, yesterday it was his memorial service, and friends, family, and fans got the chance to speak about the legend and remember the moments they spend with him during the time he was still alive.

Though who managed to go to his memorial service today won’t be able to attend his funeral because AKA the funeral will be private. Only close family members will be allowed to attend the funeral, as the family wants privacy in paying their last respect to their loved one.
