Media personality and rapper Boity Thulo has dismissed the Bible as an epitome of patriarchy. Boity was responding to questions asked on Twitter about religion.The conversation was started by a Tweep using the handle @_DJMosh who asked his followers, “What ruined religion for you?”

People responded with the incidents that ruined their religious lives. Most of the stories shared under the Tweet are about the conduct of pastors in churches.

Boity shared her thoughts about the Bible, and she described it as the epitome of patriarchy, meaning the Bible largely endorses a system which men hold the power and women are largely excluded from it.

She further went on to question the lack of incidents where women had Holy encounters
