Sabata Lipholo, the father of Teboho Lipholo, has spoken out for the first time since it only emerged in court yesterday that his son allegedly put the body which was smuggled into prison, in a bin trolley and took it to the section where Bester’s cell was.

In an emotional interview with SABC News, Teboho Lipholo’s father, whose son [ACCUSED NO.3] allegedly confessed to police on his involvement in escape & paid R40 000, says he is shocked by revelations in court.

Senior SABC journalist Chriselda Zozi Lewis reported that, apparently the day after the body was smuggled into prison, he allegedly put it in the trolley bin and ‘pretended to work in the prison yard’ went to store it in the ‘dark room’ and it somehow got to Bester cell.
