Tembisa Woman Breaks World Giving Birth to 10 Children at Once

Unusual congratulations mixed with skepticism are pouring for South African woman- Gosiame Thamara Sithole (37) who gave birth to a world record with 10 kids at once last night. She delivered seven (7) boys and three (3) girls.

The mother of ten new babies is from Tembisa township area of Ekurhuleni outside of Johannesburg, Gauteng. With this feat, Gosiame Thamara Sithole has broken the Guinness World Record held by Malian Halima Cissé who gave birth to nine children in Morocco last month.

 

 

 

According to reports, initially, doctors had earlier detected and expected eight babies during the medical scans – at a hospital in Pretoria last night, said her husband Teboho Tsotetsi. The husband, Mr. Sithole, a resident of Tembisa, said his wife delivered her seven boys and three girls by Caesarean section.

Gosiame Thamara Sithole has previously had two children- who are six-year-old twins. The world recrd breaker said that her pregnancy was natural as she was not on fertility treatment.
