Photos || Take A Look At AKA’s Friend That Got People TalkingThe funeral for Kiernaan Forbes, an accomplished rapper and singer, went smoothly. A funeral service for the gifted musician was held this morning at West Park Cemetery. On Friday night of the previous week, at around 10 o’clock, AKA and his longtime buddy and ex-manager Tebello, also known as Chef Tibs, were shot dead by two unknown assailants at Florida, in Durban.

 

 

 

Death came for both on February 10 in the evening, and they were interred at separate cemeteries today. Kairo Forbes, AKA’s gorgeous daughter, is survived by her parents and two siblings.

Slim Dope, who attended AKA’s memorial ceremony and claimed that AKA was a boyhood friend, caused a social media frenzy when he made the revelation. Recently at Sandton Convention Center, mourners gathered for a mourning ceremony. The rapper’s boyhood friend, known as “Slim Dope,” reminisces about their early days together.

Neither his identity nor his AKA moniker were well-known. Their social media followers were taken aback when they found out that AKA came from a wealthy background. When Slim Dope was younger, he enrolled in AKA at ST johns, a prestigious private institution in South Africa.
