Since the release of Ungazncishi, by Riky Rick & Focalistic, it has become a national anthem and turned into a popular urban culture statement. The catchy song is definitely going to be a jam for the festive season. A local, well-known comedian by the name of Ta Fire decided to troll the song, with his own funny version.posted the video on his Twitter timeline and tagged Focalistic as well, he was clearly humoured by the silly video.
“Mxim, he wena san Ung’jwayel amaqanda dawg @FOCALISTIC look what this guy did to you”
On the video, Ta Fire pretends to be Riky Rick in the studio, while recording the hooks to the hit song as he spits into the studio mic. Riky Rick then switches to Focalistic and tells him to not prevent the feature. A clearly lit Focalistic mumbles some incoherent words until Riky Rick decides to add more lines about posting nudes to his Social media channels.
Focalistic’s impersonation was extremely funny and almost realistic, the self-proclaimed Pitori Maradona, burst into the music scene quite recently. He is arguably one of 2019’s break-out stars, his real name is Lethabo Sebetso and he first came onto the scene back in 2017 with the song Fakamali. He has a very versatile style of music, which he calls Pina Tsa Ko Kasi.Since his fame, he has worked with many well-known stars like Cassper Nyovest on Skaftin and Never Know, Vigro Deep, Major League DJz and on this track with Riky Rick. Even though Cassper Nyovest and Riky Rick have a good and bad history, this hasn’t affected the youngster while working with Makhado.
While speaking to Slikour, Cassper explained that he is still hurt by the breaking up of his friendship with Riky Rick and how it has affected his mother. He shared that his mother was very worried about their feud because she considered Rick her son, and wanted to know why her “sons” were fighting. Ultimately, he hopes that they are able to reconcile in the future as he doesn’t want the drama in his life.
Riky Rick is yet to respond to anything Cassper said on Slikours show but he seems to be in good spirits with Focalistic and taking jokes from Ta Fire. Maybe Ta Fires hook on the video will someday make it onto Makhado’s album but for now, we can only laugh at his funny skit.
