Tens of thousands if not millions of football fans across the country are buying merchandises which are associated with their favourite clubs in the PSL.

However, one football fanatic has opted for a unique way to express his excitement.

On Thursday, former Orlando Pirates attacking midfielder Linda Mntambo who currently plies his trade at Sekhukhune United took to his Instagram stories where he shared a photo where one superfan had decided to get his face trimmed at the back of his haircut.

From the shared photo on the popular platform, what we learned is that this football fan went to as far as getting Linda Mntambo’s famous nickname “Figo” trimmed on the right side of his haircut.

On the football front, the 33 year old Johannesburg born footballer who currently serves as the captain of Sekhukhune United was one of the star performers at his club in the first half of the 2022/23 DStv Premiership season as he accumulated much needed game time minutes.

In addition, “Figo” as he is affectionately known as also rattled the back of the net in the colours of Sekhukhune United. According to his player profile on 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘵, Linda Mntambo who can play as a central midfielder and as a second striker made 12 appearances in all competitions, scoring a single goal and he also created three goal scoring assists for his teammates.

According to the same source mentioned above, the Sekhukhune United jersey number 23 made 71 appearances during his four year spell at Orlando Pirates, rattled the back of the net eight times and created six goal scoring assists for his teammates.
