South African actress Jo-Anne Reyneke, born June 2, 1988, is best known for her roles in television dramas.
She’s been acclaimed for her work in Muvhango and Prudence Oliphant on SABC2, where she played the bubbly secretary Pearl.
Additionally, she is well-known for her role as Redemption Records’ frantic office administrator in e.tv’s Rhythm City.
Jo-Anne Reyneke’s advantage in expressing expressions originated in her upbringing in Pietermaritzburg.
In high school, she began taking theatrical classes, which she continued during her time at the exchange school. To a dark Zulu mother and white father, Jo-Anne Reyneke was born in Vereeniging, Gauteng. Her single mother raised her and her younger brother in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal.
Due to her light skin tone and her mixed-race heritage, she has spoken about how she was pushed through her upbringing in the municipality. During her time at Russell High School (Pietermaritzburg), Jo-Anne Reyneke developed an interest in dramatization and the expressive qualities of the performative arts.
Her enrollment at Movietech Film and Television School, located in Durban, followed registration. She studied acting and music. Jo-Anne Reyneke appeared in two scenes of the SABC1 dramatization series Intersexions as Layla in 2013, in between her work on Muvhango and Rhythm City.
Seasons 2 and 3 of the South African soap opera High Rollers starred Jo-Anne Reyneke as Busi Duma from 2015 to 2017. After that, she appeared in the e.tv telenovela Broken Vows, which ran from April 2017 to April 2018. She portrayed Thandi in the role intended for her. Yousef Moswane, a senior wedding planner at privately-owned Yours Truly Concepts, was adopted by the family.
