Steven Jerome Pienaar is a South African retired professional soccer player and current assistant coach of the U18 team of the Ajax Youth Academy. He was a captain of the South African national team (Bafana Bafana).He was playing as a winger, but also played as an attacking midfielder.Pienaar was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa. His date of birth is recorded as 17th of March 1982, he is currently 40 years old as of August 2022.

 

The retired footballer is currently married to his lovely wife Awa Abduleau and their marriage is blessed with five adorable children.
