South Africans have taken to trolling former England player Mike Tindall, who trash-talked the Springboks ahead of their Rugby World Cup semi-final showdown this weekend.
Tindall – who is married to King Charles’s niece Zara Phillips – revealed his disdain for the boys in green and gold. He even claimed that it would be a “disgrace” if the Boks won the World Cup again.
MIKE TINDALL – WHAT DID HE SAY ABOUT SPRINGBOKS?
In this week’s episode of The Good, The Bad, The Rugby podcast, hosts James Haskell, Alex Payne, and Mike Tindall shared their post-match commentary about last weekend’s
Rugby World Cup quarter-final games.
Mike – a former England player who helped win the 2003 Rugby World Cup – was particularly annoyed at SA’s defeat of France.
The 45-year-old claimed he was disappointed at the host country’s loss and even stated that they were a stronger side.
He said: “I was emotional. I wanted France to get where they deserved to go. They deserved to win that game. They were a better team by an absolute country mile”.
Tindall went on to list why he thought France was better than SA, including criticism of Cheslin Kolbe’s charge down of a conversion and Eben Etzebeth’s knockdown.

He continued: “South Africa missed 43 tackles, they had to make 153, they lost on every stat across the board, but they had three snapshots from box-kicks not dealt with properly.
“They didn’t create anything, yet that is what South Africa do in World Cups.
Mike Tindall then revealed his true feelings about the reigning champions. He continued: “Going back to 2019, it would be a disgrace if South Africa won this World Cup.
Tindall also hinted that the ref was biased towards SA. He said: “I thought O’Keeffe wasn’t very good at that game.
“The irony is most Saffa fans always moan about the ref. A
