Every day in the Kolisi household is filled with adventure, laughter…and plenty of pranks. And Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s birthday is just another example of it.

This time, the rugby star had a taste of his own medicine after his wife Rachel shared a troll-worthy post on his special day.On her Instagram account, Rachel shared a birthday tribute to Siya Kolisi.

 

 

The father-of-two turns 32 on 16 June, commemorated as Youth Day in South Africa.

She captioned the clip: “You take joy wherever you go. You are light and love and all the good things! It’s so easy celebrating you!”.

She added: “Happy birthday, best friend! Can’t believe I get to do life with you!”

In the post, Rachel shared a clip poking fun at Siya, who is seen flexing shirtless, laughing loudly, dancing “like no one is watching,” and sharing corny jokes.

And Siya was quick to call out Rachel’s birthday banter.

He posted in the comments section: “Are you celebrating me here, my love, or making fun of me?”.

RUGBY WORLD CUP PRAISES ‘WORLD CLASS PLAYER’
Meanwhile, the official Instagram account of the Rugby World Cup also shared a birthday post to Siya Kolisi.

Quoting Siya’s 2019 comments that the Springboks were “playing for the people back home,” the account added: “Happy Birthday to one of rugby’s best.”

According to Springboks coach Rassie Erasmus, Siya will return to play in the Rugby World Cup warm-up matches following an emergency knee injury in April.
