dols SA’ is coming back for a new hot season in July. With the implemented of a hard lockdown that started in March 2020, many television shows were not able to continue with production until recently.
 

The production company (SIC Entertainment) has been adhering to all the government lockdown regulations and guidelines whilst recording post the mass audience.

Somizi Mhlongo-Motaung, one of the judges on Idols SA recently posted videos and pictures of himself on Instagram, in those pictures he was on the Idols SA stage. In one of the pictures, he said “Let the work begin”.

Somizi also asked young and upcoming fashion designers to share and submit their work ideas for designs that they would like to design for him and see him in when the live show debuts.

Unathi Nkayi Who is also a judge on Idols also took to Instagram to let people know that the show was back in production.

Nomsa Philiso who is the director, Local Entertainment Channels said “The show’s start date is set to be in July 2021”.
