South African author and chef Dorah Sitole has died.
The 67-year-old star passed away at hospital in Joburg on Sunday, January 3.
With a media and culinary career spanning just over 40 years, she was a celebrated food writer, magazine editor, food stylist, recipe developer and a trained Cordon Bleu chef.
A few weeks ago Sitole gave 702 her background story on how she started off working in the corporate industry but due to not being satisfied and wanting change, her husband suggested she work for a magazine that wanted a person who could cook, and she took the opportunity even though she had no idea what the job would require of her.
However, no other information regarding her death has been known but many of her fans have taken to the social media to pay tribute to the legend.
