South Africa woke up to the tragic news of the passing of rapper Ricky Rick.

Ricky Rick passed away on the 23rd of February 2022 after hanging himself. Some of his friends allegedly found him hanging from above. Prior to the rapper hanging himself he left two cryptic tweets. One of the tweets read, “I will return to a stronger man, this land is still my home. Another tweet read, “Whoever is reading this, God loves you.” When Ricky tweeted these things, he was bowing out and saying goodbye to this world.

 

 

 

Why his sudden seat shocked fans

Ricky Rick has a stable family he was happily living with. He was also planning on the return of his baby Cotton Fest. One would’ve assumed the star looked forward to seeing his brain child prospering and reaching new heights. He has a lot of endorsement deals he was getting money from and his music, is still selling.

Ricky Rick has two children whom he’s said he loves more than life itself. He has also said on numerous times that this year, he’s releasing new music and even teased fans with a snippet of his upcoming new song.

Depression is real

Depression is real, with a man with money and influence. A person would assume he’s content with his life. Him suddenly deciding to end it proves that not all that glitters is gold. He has never spoken of his depression or sadnesses at all, therefore people assumed he was just fine.

Recent Patric Shai death

Ricky’s passion is not the first in the entertainment scene this year. Earlier on, we heard about Patrick Shai’s suicide. Before the actor killed himself, he used the words, “When I die, before I die,” and others denoting he’s thinking about his death.

Ricky Rick leaves behind two children, a biological son and a step daughter he raised.
