A source close to Dr Nandipha Magudumana has denied media reports which claimed that she is pregnant.

Rumours have been circulating that Magudumana may be carrying the so-called Facebook rapist’s child after she was seen wearing baggy clothes and had a puffy face when she arrived back in South Africa and during her court appearances.

Nandipha hit the news headlines when she fled the country with her partner Thabo Bester who is also known as the Facebook rapist.

 

 

 

Bester had escaped from Mangaung prison after he had faked his own death in a sensational story which sounded like a Hollywood movie.

“She was being held against her will by him. That was her response in her initial arrest questions, that’s what she said,” the source said.

The source added that when Nandipha was quizzed by the Tanzanian authorities if she was pregnant, she told them that she was not pregnant.

Magudumana and four other suspects linked to Bester’s audacious prison break have since been arrested and appeared in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on a number of charges.

They are set to appear in court next month to answer to the charges which they are facing. The drama keeps going on.
