Actress Sophie Ndaba has been discharged from the hospital after being admitted over the weekend.

In a lengthy, heartfelt post shared on social media, Ndaba expressed her gratitude to the staff at Wilgehuiwel Hospital, who took very good care of her.

 

 

 

 

“I am truly grateful that the standard only improves. I say this because my family’s lives have been in your hands, and I always feel safe. God bless your hearts and hands.”

The former Generations star slipped and fell in her bedroom, injuring her ankle.

She thanked everyone who kept her in their thoughts and prayers and she is now ready to begin her healing journey.

“Thank you I love you. I’m finally going home. Yes, in my crutches and wheelchair. It is temporary honey and I’m here for it!

“I always wondered how it felt for those permanently in wheelchairs. I will embrace this process in prayer for you too. Thanks to my family and friends who were next to my hospital bed at midnight to make sure I got a specialist immediately. I love you. Your fast attention ensured I was attended to and didn’t lose my foot. The screws say it all.”

Additionally, Ndaba promised to fulfil all her commitments she had to attend to before her injury.

For now, she will be at home recovering.
