South African popular actress Sophie Ndaba who made her name big in the South African small screens, she played the charector of Queen Moroka for years, she also recieved a role on the SABC 3 axed soap Isidingo. The actress has spoken about the pain of living with diabetes.
On Monday the 14th of November 2022 it was a World Diabetes Day, where worldwide there’s campaigns that spreads awareness into the society about diabetes.
The actress reflected her journey as she revealed that she’s been living with diabetes for twenty years. Sophie Ndaba wrote on her instagram , she said living with the desease for ten years tought her to not take life for granted. She mentioned the bitterness of people on social media and even on public who attacked and teased her because of the desease.
She went on saying that, living with diabetes was not a choice and she don’t wish it for anyone even an enemy.
The actress also offered tips to those are affected by the desease, which is to avoid stress , prevent depression and encouraged to eat healthy.
